The cooperation with Republic of Srpska Investment-Development Bank is meant to provide economic development promotion

Banja Luka, 24.11.2015 - Macedonian Bank for Development Promotion (MBDP) signed the Memorandum of cooperation with Republic of Srpska Investment-Development Bank (IRBRS). The Memorandum was signed today by Mr. Dragan Martinovski, the CEO of MBDP and Mrs. Snezana Vujnic, the IRBRS Director.
The Memorandum of cooperation shall provide a long-term cooperation between the two development banks for good practice exchange in  the support of the development projects on the territory of the Republic of Macedonia and  the Republic of Srpska as well, enlargement of efficiency of the existing activities and introduction of new financial products on the market.
The Memorandum shall ensure the possibilities for organizing mutual trainings and educative workshops, but also experts exchange, in order for both parties to provide technical support in areas of mutual interest.
“The essence of the signing of this Memorandum of cooperation between MBDP and IRBRS is actually an expression of the both banks’ will for a mutual cooperation which is expected to deliver results especially in terms of development of the small and medium enterprises, rise in employment, development of the capital market as well as balanced regional progress”, stated Mr. Dragan Martinovski, the CEO of the MBDP.
MBDP has already established successful cooperation with the regional development banks such as HBOR – Croatian Development Bank, Slovenian SID Bank and SID PKZ, AOFI – Serbian Export Credit and Insurance Agency, Bulgarian Development Bank…

04.05.2015 - One of the MBDP’s main activities as a development bank is providing support to the Macedonian export. In order to extend support to export oriented companies in the country, MBDP lowered the export factoring interest rate from 7% to 6% (per annum).

22.09.2014 - The first tranche in amount of EUR 10.9 million was disbursed. The funds are earmarked for SMEs and will provide support to 40 projects. 70% of the funds will be used as investment loans with loan term of 8 years, and the remaining funds will be used as working capital loans with loan term of 3 years. It is expected 185 jobs to be created with the realisation of these projects.
Funds will be on-lent through NLB Tutunska Banka AD Skopje, ProCredit Bank AD Skopje, Ohridska Banka AD Skopje, Halk Banka AD Skopje, Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje and UNI Banka AD Skopje.
MBDP has started preparations for the next tranche in amount of EUR 10,1 million.
